Swindon-based HR consultant joins Oxford law firm


The owner of Swindon-based HR consultancy Robinson Grace has joined the team at Oxford law firm Spires Legal.


Louise Skittrall will continue to run Robinson Grace while offering HR advice to clients of Spires Legal.


The appointment was prompted by “unprecedented growth” at the law firm, driven by “driven by repeat business and referrals from happy clients and partners alike.”


Managing director Arj Arul said: “We are delighted to welcome Louise to our ever-growing team. 2021 was a very successful year for the business and we look forward to having Louise on board. Adding HR to our range of services provides a logical extension to our business.”


Before joining Spires Legal, Louise worked both on client-side and in consultancy roles as an HR director and, as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.


She brings a wealth of experience in HR best practice across commercial and not-for-profit sectors with areas of expertise including employment contracts and staff handbooks, TUPE transfers, restructuring and redundancies, and complex employee relations casework.


Louise said: “I have worked alongside Spires Legal on several cases and am delighted to be joining the team to build on this collaboration. I aim to provide expert HR advice to Spires Legal clients as an added-value service to resolve employment relations issues before they become difficult, time-consuming and expensive”.


Robinson Grace celebrated 10 years in business last year.
