HR CONSULTANCY CELEBRATES TEN YEARS IN BUSINESS

Updated: Jan 8

HR consultancy Robinson Grace is celebrating 10 years in business with an offer of a charitable donation towards the establishment of a radiotherapy unit in Swindon.

One of the biggest challenges for the firm came in 2018, when owner Louise Skittrall was diagnosed with cancer.

Now cancer-free, and with a business milestone to celebrate, the firm has announced that 10 percent of its April profits – expected to be around £1,000 – will be donated to the Brighter Futures campaign at Great Western Hospital.

"When I was diagnosed with cancer the team stepped up and kept things going, ensuring that our clients were well looked after," said Louise.

"Our success has been a real team effort, and I couldn’t be more proud of them.”

Now the firm will be helping clients face a fresh challenge, as businesses prepare to welcome employees back to the workplace as lockdown restrictions ease.

"Many businesses are implementing agile working policies to enable a mixture of home and office-based working," said Louise.

"The enforced change of working practices driven by the pandemic have shown that in many cases, working from home can be successful, bringing many benefits to both employees and employers.

"We’ve all mastered Zoom or Teams and don’t always need to travel for face-to-face meetings, bringing benefits to both the environment, employee wellbeing and running costs.”
