This Partner (Paternity) Leave Policy template can be used by organisations to outline to employees their rights in relation to partner (paternity) leave and pay, and includes legislation updates from 29th December 2025 that entitle a partner to paternity leave if a mother (or adopter) dies in childbirth, or within one year of birth or adoption, without needing 26 weeks qualifying service.
